Be Well Wednesday: Are You on a Search for that “Magic Pill”?

I just finished my audio blog this afternoon, which is actually a Thursday, but we got home later in the evening yesterday from camping so the audio blog got postponed a day.

The quest for the magic pill applies to so many areas of our lives.  Tune in to hear about my own experience for looking for the “magic pill” when it comes to entrepreneurship and building my business.  It’s something that I have only recently become aware of, and yesterday I acknowledged it out loud for the first time as I spent time with a dear friend.  I have to admit, it was very hard for me to say the words…but I do feel a greater sense of freedom now, and I know that moving forward I will be better equipped to deal with it when it shows up again (and I know it will;-).

You can listen in on the player below, or to download the recording to your MP3 player please click here for The Energized Woman on Blog Talk Radio.

In what area(s) of your life is the quest for a “magic pill” showing up?  Leave me a comment to let me know.

Be Well Wednesday: How You Do One Thing is How You Do Everything

I consider myself to be a pretty disciplined, responsible person.  So it really came as a surprise to me when I started to notice a trend in how I operate.  I have a tendency to go about 80% of the way on any given endeavor.  As I share in this week’s audio blog below, it’s as though I have one foot in the pool, but I never actually get all the way in.

Have you ever felt like that?  It could be something you’ve experienced in your own business, or it could show up in another area of your life.  More than likely, this shows up in a lot of areas, hence the saying – how you do one thing is how you do everything.

Be Well Wednesday: What is Your Definition of Happiness, and How is it Serving You?

We hear the word ‘happiness’ all the time.  But what does that word really mean, to YOU?  Do you feel like it’s something you’re constantly striving for, or even chasing?

On today’s edition of the Be Well Wednesday audio blog, I share how my own definition has changed, especially as I have gotten older, to one that now really serves me in a way that the definitions I have had in the past did not.

Be Well Wednesday: Perfectly Imperfect

Today’s audio blog examines a perspective that I’ve been exploring recently.  I look at it at being a happy medium – instead of dwelling on what isn’t working or constantly striving for perfection, it becomes about accepting wherever you are in your life, whatever your day brings, as “perfectly imperfect.”

Be Well Wednesday: What Would a Princess Do?

On today’s audio blog, join me as I dive into a different way of approaching your days, and your life, really.  Certainly living a “princess life” includes pampering, but I believe that it’s about so much more than that.  Tune in as I share examples of how, just in the last few days, I’ve put on my princess glasses and shifted how I view my everyday living.

What will you do differently this coming week in order to be treating yourself more like the princess that you are?  Leave a comment to let me know.

Be Well Wednesday: Are YOU One of the People You Trust?

On today’s episode of the Be Well Wednesday audio blog, I share some of my own experiences and challenges with trusting myself and how these have shown up in my life (and continue to show up from time to time).  As with any relationship, trust is of crucial importance.  And that is certainly true when it comes to our relationship with ourselves

How are you currently doing with trusting yourself and trusting your inner guidance?

Energy Boost: Including YOU on Your List of Priorities

On this week’s edition of the Be Well Wednesday audio blog, I continue the discussion around priorities, with a specific focus on where you are on your list of priorities, if you’re on it at all.

This is an area that I continue to revisit over and over again in my own life.  You know, I consider myself to have been a pretty good student in school, but in life I don’t seem to be passing as many tests!  Instead, the same lessons continue to show up, even after I think I have learned them.

If this an area that continues to be a challenge for you – putting yourself on your list – you’re definitely not alone.  I talk with so many women who have difficulty with this.  I hope that the perspectives I share on today’s audio blog will be of value to you and help support you in your journey to take better care of yourself and to make your health and well-being a priority.

What is one thing that you can do today to show yourself some attention and care?  After you do that thing that you’ve identified, leave me a comment to let me know what that was like for you.
