<p>In addition to increasing your energy level, getting enough sleep on a regular basis is crucial for keeping your <strong>immune system</strong> functioning in high gear.&#160; Now that we are in the cold and flu season, this becomes even more important.&#160; </p>

<p>To help you improve the quality of your sleep, I have included 5 tips below that you can start implementing today:</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>1.&#160; Get some daily moderate exercise.&#160; Even a 20-30 minute walk can improve sleep.&#160; (Note:&#160; Complete any <em>vigorous</em> exercise at least 3 hours before bedtime.)</strong></p>
<p><strong>2.&#160; Go to bed and get up at the same time every day, even on weekends.</strong></p>
<p><strong>3.&#160; Keep your bedroom a bit on the cool side, quiet, dark, and un-cluttered.</strong></p>
<p><strong>4.&#160; Develop a routine that lets your body know that bedtime is approaching.</strong></p>
<p><strong>5.&#160; Use your bed for sleeping and intimacy; no laptop, tv watching, eating, etc.</strong></p>
