			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In this next interview in the <strong><em>Encouraging Health Series</em></strong>, I have the opportunity to introduce you to <strong>Natalie Hjelsvold</strong>.&#160; Natalie shares with us a lot of great tips for getting back in touch with your own self-care, as well as reconnecting with the parts of you that may have gotten lost along the way.&#160; I especially appreciate the tips that Natalie shares in response to question #6.&#160; Enjoy!</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>1.&#160; <strong>What is the name of your business, and what do you offer?      </p>
<p></strong>Vivacious Vixens Passion Parties.&#160; An in-home party experience of Adult Sensual Products.&#160; The opportunity to find your Inner Vixen and get her out from under the piles of laundry and bills! </p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>2.<strong>&#160; Is there a specific group of people that you serve through your work?      <br /></strong>    <br />I work with women over the age of 18 who are interested in exploring the different products available to them in the adult sensual products arena.&#160; I share information, tips and tricks on how to spice up the relationship you are in, with or without a partner.&#160; I share detailed information on how to introduce sensual products into the bedroom.&#160; I provide an evening of entertainment and laughter, showing women that their sexuality should be     <br />celebrated and they should be the foremost expert on what they enjoy and what they would like more of. </p>
<p>3. <strong>What are some of the health challenges that you see in women/women entrepreneurs today?      <br /></strong>    <br />Women are so busy taking care of business&#8230;Family business, work business, friends business, life business that they rarely take time to care for their own business.&#160; They are focused on ensuring everyone around them is well cared for, fed, bathed and snuggled in, they don&#8217;t stop to make sure those things are a daily activity for themselves.&#160; Women are in desperate need to reconnect, both with their partner and themselves.&#160; Laughter has lost its     <br />place in our lives and I am here to show them that laughter in the bedroom is the starting place of a healthy relationship, with everything.</p>

<p>4. <strong>From your perspective, what prevents women/women entrepreneurs from taking better care of themselves?      <br /></strong>    <br />Women are so focused on the tasks at hand, they lose sight of the bigger picture.&#160; How many women have you heard say &quot;I&#8217;ll sleep when I am dead!&quot; (I was one of those women!) or &quot;I&#8217;ll eat&#160; later&quot; and later never comes!&#160; We need to see that we can put ourselves on equal footing with all the demands on our lives and still take care of us along with the ones we love.     </p>
<p>5.&#160; <strong>What has your own journey with self-care been like?      </p>
<p></strong>I had to learn that a happy healthy mommy is a great mommy!&#160; A mommy who wants to play!&#160; A mommy who loves her entrepreneurial adventures!&#160; Who has energy for the parties and the clients and the trade shows.&#160; I made it a priority in 2010 to take better care of myself along with focusing on the thing that really mattered to me.&#160; I gave up the illusion of a tidy home and     <br />now, when people come over and see a messy living room, I can say&#8230;&quot;don&#8217;t mind that..the kids and I were baking today, or scrapbooking today&#8230;or dancing to the Wii Dance Party!&quot; </p>
<p>6.&#160; <strong>What 3 tips can you share with our readers for encouraging greater health and well-being in their own lives?      <br /></strong>    <br />1.&#160; You are the One and Only in the lives of the special people you love!&#160; Remember that when you take on a challenge that forces you to put them last.</p>
<p>2.&#160; Self care does not mean abandoning the ones you love!&#160; Go for a pedicure WITH your daughters.&#160; Go for a walk WITH your spouse.&#160; Include them as part of the recipe for a healthy you.</p>
<p>3.&#160; Be your own best friend!&#160; Say the hard things and recognize when things are spinning out of control.&#160; Don&#8217;t wait for a well intentioned friend to step in.&#160; Be the best friend you can be to yourself and everything else will come along too.     </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We all only have so much <strong><em>time and energy</em></strong> on any given day.&#160; In order to say <em><strong>YES to our own health and well-being</strong></em>, it is essential that we say <strong><em>no </em></strong>to other requests and demands for our time and attention.&#160; </p>
<p>This is a challenging task for many women, and in February’s issue of “O Magazine” <strong>Oprah</strong> shares more about her own journey with saying no in order to say yes to taking better care of herself on a daily basis (last page of the magazine).&#160; If you struggle with saying <strong><em>no</em></strong> in your life, you’re certainly in good company.&#160; And I love this line from Oprah:</p>

</blockquote>
